Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Steingard Financial wants every visitor — including people using assistive technology — to be able to read our articles, explore our services, and request a consultation. This page describes where the site stands and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Our standard
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across the site.
What we have built in
- Color contrast: the site’s color palette was checked against WCAG contrast requirements before launch. Body text, links, buttons, and status colors all meet or exceed the AA thresholds on the backgrounds they appear on.
- Keyboard access: navigation menus — including the drop-down panels — are built on native browser controls with full keyboard support: Tab to move, Enter to open, Escape to close. Interactive elements show a visible focus outline on both light and dark sections.
- Structure: every page has a single top-level heading and a logical heading order, so screen readers can build an accurate outline. Reading order follows visual order.
- Reduced motion: interface animations respect the operating system’s “reduce motion” preference.
- Resizable text: layouts use flexible units and remain usable when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
- Our article library spans several years, and some older posts may have images with missing or imperfect alternative text. We are reviewing the archive and improving descriptions as we update articles.
- The scheduling widget and the CFO Dashboard are third-party and separately hosted applications; we choose vendors with published accessibility commitments but do not control their interfaces.
