Terms of Use
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Steingard Financial website at steingardfinancial.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The Site is informational
The Site describes Steingard Financial’s services and provides educational articles, tools, and resources for business owners. Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, investment, audit, valuation, or tax advice, and it does not create a client relationship. Professional services are provided only under a signed engagement agreement, which governs the scope, responsibilities, and terms of any work we perform.
2. No professional relationship without an engagement
Submitting a consultation request, using a calculator or checklist, reading an article, or corresponding with us does not make you a client. We are not responsible for actions you take based on Site content. Decisions about your business, taxes, or finances should be made with the properly qualified professional who knows your specific facts.
3. Educational tools and calculators
Any tools, worksheets, or calculators on the Site produce educational estimates based on the numbers you enter and the stated assumptions. Outputs are not a valuation, a tax determination, a loan approval, or a guarantee of any financial result.
4. Your use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping it at disruptive volume, or submitting unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content through its forms. Public forms must never be used to send sensitive financial records — see our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The Site’s content — text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to Steingard Financial or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our articles and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of the Site’s content without written permission.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party services (for example, our scheduling provider and the separately hosted CFO Dashboard application). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your use of them. We are not responsible for third-party sites.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steingard Financial will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or alters the terms of a signed engagement agreement.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
