Quick, secure guides for giving Steingard Financial the access we need to manage your books. Pick a topic below.

You never share a login or password. You invite us inside each platform, and documents go to your private, secure Google folder — never regular email.

Giving us access

Invite us to QuickBooks Online

This gives us Accountant access to keep your books — you stay the owner and can remove us anytime.

  1. Sign in at qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Go to Settings (gear) → Manage users → Accountants (or Bookkeeping → Accountants).
  3. Enter our email: [email protected]
  4. Click Invite — we’ll accept and confirm.

On QuickBooks Desktop instead? Reply to your welcome email and we’ll send the accountant’s-copy steps.

Send us your bank & credit-card statements

We’ve created a private Google Drive folder just for you (the link is in your welcome email). Drop your statements there — it’s secure, and it keeps everything in one place.

  1. Open your folder link from the welcome email.
  2. Drag in your monthly bank and credit-card statements (PDF or CSV).
  3. For catch-up work, add the historical months too — the more complete, the faster we reconcile.

Please don’t email statements or share online-banking passwords — the folder is the safe way.

Give us payroll access (Gusto / ADP / etc.)

If we’re running your payroll, add us to your payroll provider:

  1. In your payroll system (Gusto, ADP, Paychex…), open Settings → Permissions / Accountant access.
  2. Invite [email protected] as an admin / accountant.

Also let us know your pay schedule, team roster (employees/contractors), and each person’s rate. Not set up on a payroll system yet? We’ll help you choose and set one up.

Handing off from a prior accountant

Switching from another bookkeeper or firm? Two things help us pick up cleanly:

  • Add your prior QuickBooks (invite us as Accountant, above), or drop a backup/export in your folder.
  • Let us know your prior accountant’s contact if we should coordinate the handoff.
